Frank has a waterproofing and tiling expert with over 35 years of experience in the field. Where he was the principal Waterproofing and Tiling Consultant for Australian Tiling and Waterproofing Consultants. I am an approved BMI Malaysia, CETCO and Soprema Quality inspector for above and below ground waterproofing.

He is a Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing and I hold a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, a Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing.

As the Independent Chair of Standards Australia Committee BD-044 Fixing of Ceramic, Natural and Reconstituted Stone Tiles, a member of Standards Australia Committee BD-038 Wet Areas in Buildings and a member of the Moisture testing of Concrete working group. I am the head of the Australian Institute of Waterproofing Technical Committee.

He is also a member of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Expert panel for tiling and waterproofing and a member of the Experts Direct panel of experts for tiling and waterproofing.

I consult in tiling and waterproofing matters, providing defect assessments and repair solutions for tiling and waterproofing defects. I provide pro-active defects prevention solutions for new construction of residential and commercial buildings. I have been instrumental in the creation of specifications and methodologies for new and remedial waterproofing and tiling work.

He has further experience in specifying and supplying tiles, adhesives, and membranes to architects, developers, builders and contractors.

In total he has a vast experience in most sectors of the industry including the chemical formulation and testing of waterproofing membranes and tile adhesives, as well as the installation of wall and floor tiles and waterproofing membranes.
